This gap means promising athletes, especially from marginalized communities or in younger age brackets, can be overlooked, and their potential to build confidence, discipline, and a career is lost.

At S.A.N.D.I.P. Foundation, we believe sports are a powerful engine for youth and women empowerment. They teach teamwork, resilience, and leadership far beyond the playing field. This is why we created the Thunder League—to build a vital bridge between raw passion and professional opportunity, ensuring that every child has the chance to compete, grow, and be seen.

What is the S.A.N.D.I.P. Thunder League?

Launched in 2025, the Thunder League is the Foundation’s flagship sporting initiative, designed to create a new benchmark for youth football development in Mumbai. We provide a structured, safe, and professional ecosystem for young talent to thrive.

Creating a Premier Platform: We invite football clubs from across the region to participate in a healthy, competitive league. This event, born from the vision of our founder, Sandeep Shastri Ji, is dedicated to identifying the next generation of football stars.

Fostering Inclusive Talent: The League is built on a foundation of inclusivity, with dedicated competitions for multiple age categories—Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15—along with a strong focus on Girls’ Teams to champion female participation in sports.

Building Confidence & Character: More than just a tournament, the Thunder League is an experience designed to build self-confidence, foster sportsmanship, and give young athletes a sense of achievement. We aim to show them what they are capable of.

Community & Volunteer Driven: The success of this massive event is a testament to the power of community. The League is made possible by the dedication of our countless volunteers who help us turn this dream into a reality for thousands of children.
