Education & Vocational Training
Academic, vocational, and health awareness programs
Empowering tomorrow’s leaders through skills and scholarship.
Why This Matters?
In India today, many young people have the will to learn but lack access to quality education, modern vocational skills, and basic health knowledge. Schools often focus on theory, but industry, technology, and livelihoods demand practical skill sets. According to recent data, large numbers of youth remain without formal skill training, and many academic courses do not align with job market needs.
At S.A.N.D.I.P. Foundation, we believe Education & Vocational Training is more than just classroom teaching — it’s about equipping people with tools, habits, and opportunities so they can lead dignified lives, contribute to their communities, and stay healthy.
What We Do at S.A.N.D.I.P.?
We run targeted programs in academic, vocational, and health awareness domains, especially for underprivileged children, youth, and communities. Key activities include:
Academic Support & Learning Centres
Free or low-cost tutoring, digital literacy, supplementary classes in languages, mathematics, sciences to help students catch up and excel in formal schooling.
Vocational & Skill Training Programs
Job-oriented short-term courses (tailored to local employment opportunities), workshops, internship placements, on-the-job training and guidance in trades like computer skills, tailoring, handicrafts, basic technical skills, etc.
Health & Awareness Workshops
Campaigns & sessions on sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, maternal & child health, menstrual health, first-aid basics, disease prevention. Delivered via community health camps, mobile clinics, school workshops.
Bridging the Gap to Employment
Soft skills training (communication, interview skills, teamwork), resume/preparation help, mentorship, linkages with local employers and small businesses for real opportunities.
Our Vision & Impact
We envision an India where every child, young person, or adult—regardless of background—is confident, skilled, and healthy enough to reach their full potential.
Some of our outcome goals:
- Increase school retention & reduce dropouts, especially among girls and underprivileged groups.
- Train and certify large numbers of young people in market-relevant skills.
- Raise awareness of preventive health so fewer families are marred by avoidable illnesses.
- Forge partnerships with CSR/companies to scale our programmes.
