Anganwadis, the frontline of this effort, are often under-resourced, and many parents lack awareness about the long-term importance of foundational learning. This early disadvantage can lead to poor school performance and high dropout rates, trapping families in a cycle of poverty.

What We Do at S.A.N.D.I.P.?

We focus on strengthening the foundational learning ecosystem to ensure every child is ready for school and has the support to succeed.

Anganwadi Modernization & Support We work to transform local Anganwadis into vibrant and effective early learning centers. This includes providing age-appropriate learning materials, educational toys, and basic infrastructure upgrades to create a stimulating environment for children.

“School Chalo” Enrollment Drives We conduct community-wide campaigns to encourage parents, especially in rural and underserved areas, to enroll their children in school at the right age. Our teams go door-to-door to counsel families and assist with the admission process.

Parental Awareness Programs We organize workshops for parents on the importance of early childhood education, nutrition, and creating a supportive learning atmosphere at home. This empowers them to become active partners in their child’s educational journey.

Bridge & Remedial Education We run supplementary learning centers that provide extra academic support to children who are first-generation learners or are falling behind, ensuring they can keep pace in formal schooling.
